B.A.Y. Camp at the Pensacola Yacht Club: Biology Adventures for Youth
B.A.Y. Camp is a marine biology camp providing children a fun opportunity to learn about our local waters and the animals found living there. Campers will participate in both classroom and outdoor activities including getting wet to gain first-hand experience with the marine environment. Activities include collection of live animals using nets, touching preserved octopus, sharks and other marine life, use of microscopes, a squid dissection as well as fun ocean-related games and crafts. Campers will be in shallow water no deeper than their waist. No swimming is allowed. For more information, e-mail Kirsten Patterson at kpatterson@intouchwiththesea.com or call 748-2722.
