In Touch with the Sea promotes an appreciation, understanding and conservation of the coastal marine environment through a variety of hands-on experiences. Programs include classroom and field-based curricula to educate people about local rivers, bays and the Gulf of Mexico as well as the diversity of organisms and habitats of our world’s oceans.

Florida’s Gulf Coast is home to pristine rivers, bays teeming with marine life, beautiful sandy beaches, and the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The diversity of habitats within this coastal ecosystem offer the opportunity for a variety of hands-on experiences for children of all ages.
